Kenya held its first-ever face-to-face presidential debate February 11th. With just over two weeks left before the March 4 elections, eight candidates took the stage for three hours in front of millions of viewers worldwide.  Though they made few groundbreaking statements, the debate was something of an arrival for Kenya’s fraught democracy, with hard-hitting questions, issue-based discussions, and plenty of quirks and quips.
